ESJ Designs are offering your photographs or pieces of art reproduced as fine art prints on a range of Hahnemühle Fine Art Papers for exclusive photography, digital artworks as well as paintings and photo reproduction in gallery and museum standards.

Digital Giclee printing techniques combined with superior paper media produce stunning fine art prints that use archival quality inks that resist fading for up to 200 years.
 
How to place your order and payment details

You can send your photographs either by posting hard copies or by emailing digital files. Any photographs that are posted will be returned. There are no additional charges for the scanning of images, negatives or slides. Every image is checked prior to payment and advice is given if images are not suitable for any reason. Once the image has been checked you will receive an email outlining payment options. Please specify in the email if you would like Textured Fine art Paper or Pearl Fine Art Paper.

Payment can be made by either paypal, cheque or bank transfer.

Hahnemühle Paper Descriptions

Hahnemühle William Turner Textured Fine Art Paper 310gsm
With its matt watercolour texture this paper is a 100% Cotton, genuine mould-made paper in both look and feel. William Turner is ideal for reproductions of traditional artworks and also for striking and expressive photo reproductions.
Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl
Fine Art Pearl 285gsm is a triple coated, lignin free, 100% alpha-cellulose paper. Fine Art Pearl is the first Fine Art product in the market with a luster finish. Achievability quality and quality consistency are made to highest Hahnemühle standards. The result is age resistant paper with a surface that is remarkably similar to a traditional silver gelatin double-weight photo paper.

Fine Art printing from ESJ Designs

ESJ Designs have added a giclée printing service to their current printing capabilities. Using the very finest award winning Hahnemühle digital fine art papers means that original artwork can be reproduced as museum quality Giclée prints. The Hahnemühle paper mill has been producing quality mould-made artists’ papers since 1584.

The fine are printing service offered by ESJ Designs can be used for reproducing original pieces of art or photos for personal display or for producing limited edition prints for sale.


Giclée printing technology


Modern giclée printing is successfully completed by using the finest fine art media combined with digital printers running at maximum quality. Fine art prints are printed at 2400dpi and at slower speeds to standard photo printing to give stunning museum quality prints. The use of pigment based inks mean that your fine art prints will resist fading for 200 years.

Fine Art paper types

ESJ Designs use two types of giclée media, Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl and Hahnemühle William Turner Watercolour. Both Hahnemühle papers are archival rated and produced in accordance with ISO9706 specifications. The papers are 100% acid free with a neutral pH.

Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl is a triple coated, lignin free, 100% alpha-cellulose paper. The result is an age resistant paper with a surface that is remarkably similar to a traditional silver gelatin double-weight photo paper. Fine Art Pearl is a 310gsm, superior fibre-based digital fine art media has the look and feel of a traditional darkroom photo paper. The paper coating provides a mid lustre surface finish.

Hahnemühle William Turner is a 285gsm natural white, genuine mould-made watercolour paper that has a 100% rag content making it highly archival. This genuine fine art printing paper made of pure alpha cellulose presents a textured surface and provided with a matt Premium-Inkjet coating. This special coating permits high quality printing. William Turner is perfect for the reproduction of traditional Watercolour fine art prints or reproducing photographs with superior detail and appearance.


Image guidelines for Fine Art prints


Both digital images and hard copy photographs are suitable for fine art giclée printing. Hard copy photographs can be posted and ESJ Designs offer a free scanning service. Photographs will be returned. Digital photographs can be emailed. The simplest method is to email a full size JPEG, straight from the camera and ESJ Designs will size it correctly and email a proof back before proceeding with the fine art print. Other file formats that are acceptable include tiff, .pdf, .psd, .ai, .eps. If images are set to actual size, the resolution needs to be a minimum of 300dpi for fine art printing.


Delivery of Fine Art prints


ESJ Designs offer a free delivery service on all products. Fine art prints are sent rolled by Royal Mail Recorded delivery. Delivery is normally  about one week from order. If you need a fine art print quicker please contact as other delivery options are available at a small cost.
